Your paging file is designed to be two different sizes that it moves in between: the Initial Size and the Maximum Size. Since these two sizes are constantly changing it causes your paging file to work inefficiently. If you using Windows XP, click Start, right click My Computer and select Properties. Click on the Advanced tab and then under the section that says Performance, click on Settings. Now look under Page file size for selected drive and select Custom Size.

For those of you using Windows Vista, just click Start, select Control Panel and on the left hand side make sure Classic View is selected. Now double click on the System icon. Now look on the left side of the window and click on the Advanced System Settings. Select the Advanced tab at the top of the window and then under the section that says Performance select Settings. A new window should appear. Just click on the Advanced tab at the top of the screen and under the section that says “Virtual Memory” select Change. Now uncheck the box that says “Automatically manage paging file size for all drivers” and look in the area where it says “Drive [Volume Label]” to make sure that C: is selected. Now look under Page file size for selected drive and select Custom Size and where it says “Total page file size for all drives section” take not of the amount that says “Recommended” as you will be using this number. Now take whatever number it says is recommended and type that into both boxes that say “Initial Size” and “Maximum Size”. To finish just click on Set, then Ok and for the next window just click on Apply and then OK.

Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are back in this year’s summer action comedy Knight and Day. Its the second movie both of these A list Hollywood actors have acted in after the 2001 film Vanila Sky. Which was a pretty friggin weird movie if you recall. Formally titled “Wichita” and “Trouble man”, this film originally slated Chris Tucker and Eva Mendes as the two main characters.

Apparently Chris Tucker didn’t want to act in the Movie unless Jackie Chan was included as well. He also suggested they changed the title to Rush Hour 4 for some reason. Seriously though I think it just came down to the fact that nobody would buy Tucker as a secret agent. This movie is far fetched as it is.

Anyway Tom Cruise plays a spy *que Mission Impossible Music*, not quite like Ethan Hunt however he plays a less serious, cornier version of his Mission Impossible character named Roy Miller. Da Da Da Duh Dum. Cameron Diaz plays June Havens who unknowingly gets entangled with him at an airport and now her life is in jeopardy.

The only saving thing for this movie was the fact that Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz were acting in it. I’m actually a little surprised both of them agreed to take the roles. I did enjoy how the movie started but it slowly spiraled down a road of big smiles, unrealistic action and predictable jokes. These two A list actors took what would have been a B grade movie and turned it into something thats actually semi watchable.

It was entertaining at some parts though and shot in various locations around the world. So if you’re in the mood for a generic Hollywood action adventure where the bad guys have such horrible aim that even after thousands of bullets have been fired shooting everything in sight but still managing some how to miss main characters, this might be your film. Otherwise you might want to save your time for Toy Story 3. I hear that might be a good one.

Florida State won their first ACC college football game of the year on Thursday, though it certainly wasn’t easy. The Seminoles were down 24-6 midway through the third quarter before mounting a furious comeback to defeat North Carolina 30-27. FSU quarterback Christian Ponder threw for a career high 395 with three touchdowns and no interceptions to pace his team. The Seminoles improved their overall record to 3-4 while North Carolina dropped to 4-3.

College football betting enthusiasts who overlooked the Seminoles dismal record against the spread were rewarded by Florida State’s outright win as +2′ road underdogs. Florida State can get back to .500 next weekend with a home game against another team looking for their first ACC win of the season, North Carolina State. After that, they’ll return home to take on Duke and Miami in successive weeks.

Brian Bowles used a counter right hook late in the first round to defeat Miguel Angel Torres by TKO and win the WEC Bantamweight title in the main event of another exciting fight card from Zuffas MMA promotion showcasing the lighter weight classes. Though Bowles entered as a highly respected, undefeated challenger his stoppage victory over Torres”a fighter who ranked high atop most pound for pound best lists”has to be considered one of the major MMA upsets of the year.

Almost out of nowhere, however, Bowles countered with a perfectly placed short right hook that sent the champion to the canvas. He followed up with some nasty ground and pound punches including a big left hand that knocked his opponent unconscious and forced the referee to wave off the fight.

In his postfight interview, Bowles was clearly pleased but not exactly surprised by the result. His comments indicated that hed been very well prepared for Torres considerable skills and though he conceded that hed been stung by the punching barrage waited for the opening to throw the right hook that ended the fight. Bowles displayed considerable class in victory, and Torres conducted himself in a matter befitting a champion as he accepted the defeat.

A rematch between Bowles and Torres is almost inevitable, but theres plenty of talent in the WEC bantamweight division. The semifinal bout on the card pitted two of these competitors in what may have been an elimination match for #1 contender status as Dominick Cruz handed feisty Joseph Benavidez his first professional loss via unanimous decision. The unorthodox and insanely athletic Benevidez had a good deal of trouble with the superior height and reach of Cruz. Benavidez managed to give a good account of himself, but in the end the physical disparity along with Cruzs repeated takedowns and sharp striking skills spelled the difference in this matchup.

Further muddling the picture in the bantamweight division was an earlier fight on the card, in which Takeya Mizugaki outlasted Jeff Curran to win a split decision victory. Mizugaki had trouble with the active guard of Curran, but scored takedowns in all three rounds.

New York Jets rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez has been a crucial factor in the teams 2-0 start, showing a poise and head for the game very rare for NFL newcomers. Still, there wasn’t much worry at the revelation that hes suffering from tendinitis in his right knee. The Jets announced Sanchez’s injury on Thursday, and hes listed as probable on the official NFL injury report. Every indication from Sanchez and the Jets’ staff suggests that he’ll be able to play.

Sanchez practiced on Thursday, and though he was seen stopping to stretch and rub his right knee on a few occasions didn’t seem to suffer any impairment in his mobility.
