About The Film

Titled after a nickname given to the Wallowa Mountain range years ago, Little Switzerland is a story about the art of packing in Eastern Oregon, specifically through the eyes of a few descendants of the Schaeffer family. This piece will guide you through a day-in-the-life of present day packers, while integrating its historical relevance in the community through interviews with some of the key players. This film will also cover how packing has changed with the times up until today.
